Have You Tasted A “Cacio e Pepe Raviolo-Topped Filetto?” Well Here It Is!

Check out this dish! It’s called “Cacio e Pepe Raviolo-topped Filetto” and it’s from one of New York’s wildest new restaurants, Bad Roman!

The restaurant is filled with colorful touches like this – and includes dishes like a “Spicy Little Gem Caesar Salad”!

I shared an entire review at my main website, and a link is below to see more, but for foodies, the star of the menu is without a doubt the “Filetto.” My son ordered their signature dish – which tasted as good as it looked!

The “Cacio e Pepe Raviolo Topped Filet!”

Yes, what a dish! You can order the filet with special sauces as well as additional toppings – like this raviolio!

Here’s what it was like to cut into it!

This is a show-stopper to be sure, and delicious – a nice crusty exterior and velvety smooth inside – but it’s not the last show-stopper – check out this lemon sorbet dessert!

Yes, the dish looks like two lemons served atop crumbled graham cracker.

The outside is solid and icy cold, and you break it open to find the lemon sorbet inside!

While some have criticized the “over the top” nature of the menu, we found it fun and inventive – and everything tasted great to us!

I’ve shared some really unique dining experiences from New York, like a Sunday brunch with a gospel choir!

Speaking of iconic New York restaurants, I have eaten a few times at one that was memorialized forever in a movie:

Katz’s Deli was the location for the hilarious scene from “When Harry Met Sally” – and they filmed it there – and it’s also home to one of the world’s greatest pastrami sandwiches:

You can see myt meal there, along with a celebration of all things pastrami by clicking on my story here:
