Guess What Time It Is? Time To Celebrate The Burger!
That’s right, it’s National Burger Month!
This monthlong celebration of “all things burger” is near and dear to me – and based on some of the statistics I’m about to share, it’s. big deal to you too!
That’s right, this national month of biting down on burgers was founded by White Castle in 1993, this month-long celebration highlights the start of grilling season and features various burger deals, specials, and limited-time menu items at restaurants across the United States.
First, a peek at what we are talking about:
This smashburger from 7th Street Burgers is perfection: a smashburger does away with excessive garnish and focuses on the meat, along with a “thousand island-style” dressing and pickles – boom!

I am glad you asked! you see, they are VERY popular!
There Are 50 billion burgers consumed annually in the U.S.!
Americans eat an average of 3 burgers per week, and 71% of beef served in US restaurants is in the form of hamburgers or cheeseburgers.
And of course, this fella is one of the most iconic….did you know that McDonald’s sells roughly 75 hamburgers every second worldwide?!?!?!
I say its’ time to celebrate that fact, which I did my mashing up two of my favorite items!
Yes, I introduced a new menu item: a McD’s “surf and turf!”
