Carol’s New Cookbook Is Here!
Such a surprise and so exciting to share – the great food blogger Carol Taylor has released a cookbook – and you can buy it on Amazon!
As she write in her announcement:
“I have cooked for years initially taught by my mother and grandmother and as I grew older by trial and error yes I have and still have monumental disasters in the kitchen unless I set my trusty timer I am sure many of you can relate to this I get my head stuck down a rabbit hole and nothing else exists time stands still… and then the burnt smell reaches your nose…”
Well, that’s never been my experience, as she has shared many terrific recipes online for all of us to enjoy!
Click here to see more and the way you can buy a copy like I did – it’s easy and inexpensive!
Carol has shared so many great stories about food – and the important issues surrounding how we consume food on this planet…
Carol’s series on food and culture around the world is terrific…click here to see her take on German food:
As it’s Christmas, I will also share her great Christmas Ham recipe – you can see her story on it here:
As for me, I will be making my traditional holiday feast, which begins with this as the centerpiece:
This “Gigot D’Agneau” is a treat at Christmas – and Easter too!
Here’s the recipe:
Sometimes, I make a separate potato side dish as well – because it’s a classic Parisian “potato cake!”
This always gets a huge response when served – click here for the recipe – it’s not difficult and trust me it’s a showstopper:
There is nothing more fun than tackling a new recipe and having it turn out well:
I tackled a recipe from Anthony Bourdain’s Les Halles Cookbook – a “Bacon-wrapped Pork Tenderloin” – also a great Easter dish!
Here’s a step-by-step recipe as well if you want more details:
I made this dish as part of my “52 In 22” cooking challenge.
As for that “52 Cookbooks 52 Recipes” effort, I am sharing and storing all of these recipes here!

It’s your site for all things food – if you like what you see, please click on my link and follow this blog as well!
Bravo Carol – so happy for your success!
