The Wonderful World Of Wacky Pringles Chip Flavors!
Once again, the amazing website “SoraNews24.com” has a delicious story about food – this time focusing on uniquely flavored Pringles!
Look at some of these that are for sale:

Yes, the flavors include seaweed. Grilled Shrimp. Lemon and sesame and more!
Bravo to Reporter Oona McGee for this story – she dove into the deep end of the Pringles pool to bring us a terrific story about special-edition flavors over the years…here’s a snippet of her report:
“If there’s one thing we can’t get enough of in Japan, it’s the amazing array of limited-edition flavours produced by international brands specifically for the Japanese market. From drinks to chocolates and even burgers, some of the special releases you’ll find here aren’t available anywhere else, making them some of the most exclusive and sought-after products in the world.”
Of course, because you can’t get THESE just anywhere!

Fried Chicken Pringles!
Count me in! So many of the flavors sound, at first blush, like no big deal, and what makes them so unique is that they were only available for a short time.
Writer McGee was fascinated by all of the special releases over the years, so she documented them all, like this one:

Eggs Benedict Pringles!
And why not? McGee adds:
“After seeing some of their unique offerings on supermarket shelves recently, we decided to get in touch with the company to find out exactly what types of limited-edition flavours they’d produced in Japan over the years. The result is a mammoth collection of colourful tins so beautiful they would look right at home on the walls of a museum.”

She’s right! My personal favorite is perhaps just a bit TOO FAR OVER THE EDGE:

Mayonnaise-Cheese Pringles!
Yes, yes yes! I love Mayonnaise, so why wouldn’t I love this strange mashup of flavors?
Oona McGee has an amazingly in-depth report – and SoraNews24.com is a great site so check it out!
Speaking of unique food mashups, how about this unique potato chip flavor:

Hot And Sour Fish Soup Flavor!
I have shared these unique Chinese potato chip flavors before – see them all here, including my favorite – “Pepsi Chicken Potato Chips!”
Now, before we say “whose wacky Chinese”, let me remind you of this POTATO CHIP:

Well, that’s enough to bring any good food conversation to a halt, see more of these wild potato chip flavors here:
Enjoy your pringles, like this “Cream Of Mushroom Soup” Flavor!

I am sharing this story because soon, I will post pictures and video of a wild wild wild night at our house when we had a group of friends over to taste test these:

Yes, I had TEN special bags of flavored potato chips flown to my house and the taste test is worth seeing!
And speaking of wacky flavor mashups:

Would you have an ice cream cheeseburger? Be honest, because I would!
Check out some wacky food mashups here:
And if you don’t want ice cream, why not one of these?

It’s a “Mojito Popsicle” and yes, it’s got alcohol in it – click here for the recipe!

This is a great post, John. I didn’t see these in Japan, admittedly I didn’t look for them, but I got the KitKats. I’m using them for Michael’s birthday celebration tomorrow. PS you inspired the cake so look out for pictures 😉
Can’t wait! Yes, I got some really unique Kit Kats flavors as well – not as wild as these but unique to be sure – cant wait to see!
🎂😊
I would absolutely try them all!
So many flavours I am never going to try 😉
I’m a ‘Plain’ crisp eater, John. We call them ‘ready salted’ here. I also prefer crunchy crisps to Pringles.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks for that Pete…Pringles are fun to be sure, but they’re made with something called “dehydrated processed potato.” They also contain corn, rice and wheat! So, I will eat a potato chip that is just a sliced and fried potato and nothing more!
Same for me, though my wife really likes Pringles!
