It’s Summer Lobster Season!
As soon as I saw Dorothy’s post on her website “The New Vintage Kitchen”, I sent her a note telling her I was sharing this with everyone! She has taken summer up a big notch with some absolutely terrific Lobster recipes!
This is a Lobster Stew with corn and potato.
She also shares recipes for a Lobster and Corn Cocktail, Lobster Corn salad and so much more!
See all of Dorothy’s terrific recipes here!
Dorothy has been on a seafood roll of late…as I shared another dish she posted: here is her salmon with a unique topping!
I am always trying to share great recipes from other Chefs, and if you click the “recipes” link on my main page you will see a lot of them!
I tried a unique coating on salmon once as well:

This breadcrumb and herb-crusted Salmon served with roast leeks that are served vertically is terrific – see Cookbook Author Carolina Gelen’s recipe and my preparation here:
And Gelen shared this recipe from her cookbook recently as well:

I plan to make this next – and will share how it turned out – but if you want to see the recipe now, click here:
I am sharing and storing all of these recipes here!

It’s your site for all things food – if you like what you see, please click on my link and follow this blog as well!
Thanks to “The New Vintage Kitchen” for another terrific way to look at salmon!

A terrific share
Thanks for reposting this my friend! I have a bib waiting for you and lots of butter!
I am going to make this and see if I can measure up…and I love the corn lobster cocktails too!
The cocktails are fun!
Am smiling as have read and appreciated Dorothy’s exciting recipes from New England for a pretty long time! Like her way of thinking about food and have reposted her myself. Have to look up Carolina Gelen – thank you for the suggestion 🙂 !
Thanks for the note!
Looks really tasty!
the lobster stew looks amazing and I love everything lobster, though I’ve never had a lobster cocktail. thanks for sharing the link to the new vintage kitchen, I look forward to exploring Dorothy’s site!
Ive never done the lobster cocktail either but it sounds like fun so I am going to try it for sure!
Looks great, and most surely tastes great too. Sadly, lobster has become so expensive in the UK, I have to reserve it for special occasions only, and normally eaten in a restaurant.
Best wishes, Pete.
That’s a shame Pete…prices for everything are going up up up here as well sadly
