Carol Cooks Curry! Here’s A Terrific “Hunglay” Curry Recipe!

I have shared many recipes from Carol, who always has great insight on the history and culture of what she shares….today is “Hunglay Curry!

As she posted on her blog:

“Hunglay curry is very popular in Northern Thailand, the curry definitely differs from traditional northern Thai curries in several respects:  no coconut milk, and uses dried spices, which are commonly used in Burmese, but not northern Thai curries. The dish is also commonly served as a festive dish in northern Thailand…”
