How Wild Do You Get With Your Soda Flavors?
Personally, I rarely drink it – I grew up in Seattle and we called it “pop” not “soda” – but either way, look at some of the wildest flavors – that just happened to have been given to me as a gift!
Yes, my son Jeff saw this flavor and just assumed I was eager for a bottle!
It was from a four pack of sodas – that included this:
Of course, I had to get more information. You see, Jones Soda Co. is a beverage company from Seattle, specializing in unusual flavors – like this one:
And the four pack my son showed up with had this flavor as well:
Yes – Butter, Pickle, Bacon And Ranch Dressing Flavors!
What a selection! My son Jeff sure knows how to shop!
Have to give Jones credit, they’ve been selling these wacky flavors for more than twenty years! They also sell many other flavors, like these “dessert packs”:
And of course, I now know what to get Jeff for his birthday:
“Birthday Cake Soda!”
Full disclosure: my coworker Brenton once brought me a Bacon Soda, and everyone at work at a sip – ONE SIP. Enough said!
Bravo to Jones for these unique flavors…even if they aren’t meant for more than one sip, what a sip it is!

HI John, I don’t drink soda either, it is to sweet. These presumably are not sweet but I’m not sure if I’d want to drink bacon flavour. I like the texture of bacon and that compliments the taste.
Robbie, I don’t drink any soft drinks at all…that said, someone brought in the bacon soda for me at work once and I sipped it – one sip was all that was needed…I also tasted the others as well and they are exactly what you think they would be!

I always liked Jones soda though I’ve only had it a few times, and nothing as bizarre as the flavors you show. Ranch sounds the most terrible to me, but I’d be interested in trying Butter!

The bacon flavored soda was a disappointment. It tasted more like what dog drool would taste like if the dog ate bacon. A slight bacon aftertaste but otherwise it was just, well, slobbery tasting.
As a goof these are funny to share but as a drink? NO indeed – your description was spot on!
