Your 2026 Academy Awards Food Menu! Here’s What Oscar Eats With The Stars!

What Do The Stars Eat On Oscar Night?

Well, perhaps Lady Gaga will enjoy a sandwich, but I think it’s going to be a lot more extravagant than that – beginning with a “smoked salmon and caviar” Oscar!

For the 32nd year, Wolfgang Puck and his team of culinary experts will be serving the Chef’s signature Oscar dish – because he is once again in charge of the food being served at Oscars’ official after-party!

“We’re going to be pushing out about 25,000 plates of food from the kitchen that evening,” said Puck’s son, Chef Byron Lazaroff-Puck. “We’ve got 150 chefs to do it!”

I love that Wolfgang’s son is part of the celebration – and I have been to the Oscars several times and can assure you the food is as spectacular as the show itself!

Key 2026 Governors Ball Menu Items

Here is the official list of food being served after the show ends – the Governors Ball takes place right next door to the theater where the awards are presented, so you will see Academy Awards statues on may of the tables where the winners are sitting!

    • Signature Dishes: as always, there will be the smoked salmon with caviar, as well as mini-truffle chicken pot pies, and Wagyu steak frites.
    • New Additions: This year, Chef Puck is adding an extensive sushi/salmon station, along with bite sized Confit Duck Potstickers, and Crab Chawanmushi too.
    • Desserts: Wolfgang pays tribute to his Mom with Mother Puck’s apple strudel and a specialized, high-volume ice cream station.

So there’s what the stars will be eating at the show, and remember, we all love to watch a celebrity eat:

Yes, Elvis enjoying a sandwich is a sight to behold….here are more pictures of celebrities digging into food!

After the Academy Awards show, many attendees will be off to parties, including at Hollywood’s oldest restaurant!

The legendary Musso & Frank restaurant is 107 years and still going strong!

    1. wow, I love how you always give us the insider’s glance at the food and the stories

    2. Thanks for this fun post – always watch the awards, knew of the dinner afterwards, have actually eaten Wolfgang Puck’s food but had never seen photos of the actual feast! Great for a ‘foodie’ to see! But – ‘that’ Lady Gaga sandwich is ‘yuck’ enough for me not to be interested in my breakfast just coming up . . . thick white bread and lettuce and whatever . .. !
