The Site is called “Cook And Drink: The Art of Flavours!“
I came across these two Chefs when a blogging friend shared one of their recipes – and I’m hooked on their terrific mix of food and wine stories and recipes! This is a delicious looking chicken with morel mushroom dish – and who doesn’t love morels?
I plan on making this dish this week and will share my version of it – but it won’t top their effort!
Click here to see the entire recipe – bravo to the Chefs!
Chicken is so versatile: really it can enhance any dish – no matter the culture!
Need proof?
This is a Moroccan Chicken Pot Pie called a “Basteeya!”
I made it as part of my “52 In 22” cooking challenge and you can see the recipe and how I did by clicking here!
Sometimes those cooking challenges really were a challenge – remember this attempt to make a “crispy Mollet Egg?”
While I love the look of the finished product, it was not easy to get there!
See how this recipe almost cracked me by clicking on the story here:
Back to chicken, I am also a fan of history, so it was fun to cook along with Benjamin Franklin!
Yes, this is Benjamin Franklin’s recipe – he was apparently a foodie!
See how I did, and where I got the recipe, by clicking here:
I also made this Chicken Cacciatore receipt – thanks to Actor Stanley Tucci’s Mom!

Thanks John, you’re too kind!
that looks delish! I’m a big morel fan and rarely have them. who knew about ben’s side skills?
I will look forward to your vesrion, John. I expect it to contain lots of delicious garlic! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
I can’t get any kind of wild mushroom where I live! You’re very lucky! A beautiful dish.
That is always the problem! The dish I tried to replicate asked for Morels, which are sold dried as well as fresh, but neither was available! This kind of recipe isn’t as unique if it’s just a regular white mushroom, but sometimes that’s all you can find! Thanks for the comment, great hearing from you!
