Let’s Go Retro!

Bernadette’s story focuses on food and family, and it reminded me of some of the classic dishes I made after taking my daughter and her friend to Hollywood’s oldest restaurant!

How classic? Well, the Waiters all wear black bow ties and red serving jackets, and the food is so retro and fun – for more than 100 years you can get the classic “blue cheese stuffed celery with black olives!”

Last year, as part of my “52 In 22” cooking challenge, I made this dish + the Martini AND they legendary Carbonara recipe with the great Hollywood history b behind it!
