I’m “Nuts” For Salmon!
My wife and I eat salmon multiple times a week – and while Alex loves how I make it for her, I am always looking for new ways to prepare it…so enter “The New Vintage Kitchen!”
Click to see a terrific baked Salmon dish with Dijon and Nuts, thanks to Dorothy and her sister Jan!
I plan to make this recipe next week and will share how it turned out – Dorothy has so many great recipes so make sure to go to her site!
I love nuts and of course Salmon is a staple…which led me to this variation on how to make it:

I made this spicy Salmon with Green Olives thanks to a terrific young cookbook Author – see the recipe here!
I am always trying to share great recipes from other Chefs, and if you click the “recipes” link on my main page you will see a lot of them!
It’s not the first dish of Gelen’s I’ve cooked:

This breadcrumb and herb-crusted Salmon served with roast leeks that are served vertically is terrific – see her recipe and my preparation here:
And she shared this recipe from her cookbook recently as well:

I plan to make this next – and will share how it turned out – but if you want to see the recipe now, click here:
I am sharing and storing all of these recipes here!

It’s your site for all things food – if you like what you see, please click on my link and follow this blog as well!
Thanks to “The New Vintage Kitchen” for another terrific way to look at salmon!

ooh the nuts and dijon combo would be wonderful on salmon! I’m going to try this one. the recipe with the roasted leeks looks so cool, I’ve never seen them cut like that.
Thanks John!
We have salmon every week too, never tire of it, and it’s always nice to have a few new variations to try. Love the one with the roasted leeks!
I’ve been watching Anora! Ha! It really is good. Thanks for the review! I know it wasn’t on THIS blog post, but I couldn’t find it!!!
HA!
I would never have thought of combining nuts with salmon, but would be happy to try it.
Best wishes, Pete.
Same with me Pete…it will be interesting to see how they compliment the salmon – which I cook all the time so always looking for a new approach! Thanks for the comment!
