Here Are My Final Super Bowl Recipes – 2 Expected – 1 Surprise!

Kansas City Vs. Philadelphia! Time For A Tasty Super Bowl Matchup!

So, the big day is finally here! It’s a big big rematch for Super Bowl 59 – the Kansas City Chiefs will be trying to make NFL history, while the Philadelphia Eagles are looking for revenge…what a matchup – and it’s making me hungry!

Will Kansas City become the first team in NFL history to “three peat?” Will they win THREE Super Bowls in a row? Or will Philadelphia avenge their loss to the Chiefs in the 2023 Super Bowl…we will see int a few hours!

As usual, the big game means big big meals like this!

This Stadium Is A Foodie’s Touchdown!

Yes, this “burger stadium” is the perfect things to make for this year’s big game – and since both teams come from great food cities, I will be making these two dishes – here is the food matchup between Kansas City and Philadelphia!

The Taste Of Philadelphia Vs. The Taste Of Kansas City!

I love that both cities have delicious food – so let’s take the “food field!”

Here is the recipe for the “Maple Bourbon Butter Ribs” I am making to honor Kansas City – click here for all the details:

And here’s how I am celebrating Philadelphia’s greatest sandwich:

Behold Jim’s Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich!

Well, this is a “Super Bowl worthy” sandwich for sure! Philadelphia is known as the home of the “cheesesteak” and they are VERY particular about it!

Jim’s Steaks sells a “complete it at home” kit for their famous cheesesteaks…and what makes a real “Philly Cheesesteak” real? I found this description for the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich on a website:

“According to Philadelphians, you simply cannot make an authentic Philadelphia Cheese Steak sandwich without an authentic Philadelphia roll. The rolls must be long and thin, not fluffy or soft, but also not too hard. They also say that if you are more than one hour from South Philly, you cannot make an authentic sandwich. With cheese, it is a cheese steak or “cheesesteak.” Cheeze Whiz is the topping of choice for serious steak connoisseurs.”

You can also grilled onion and bell peppers as well – and the kit comes with everything we need to make them to our liking!

They are sitting in my refrigerator, just waiting to be warmed up for the game!

Those are the two dishes I told you about – and that I was ready to make – until my wife Alex threw me a curveball!

Alex wanted something a bit healthier, so I will be making this terrific – and healthy – Turky Chili as well! Click for the recipe I am making!

Our friends are also bringing over plenty of snacks for the game – it’s an American tradition that goes back to the beginning of football, right?

  1. That first stadium is just amazing, John

  2. I would sooner enjoy that food watching a classic action movie than try to understand the rules of American Football! 😊 I read that Kansas lost, but that means nothing over here of course.

    Best wishes, Pete.

  3. Looks really delicious! What a feast
