I never knew what “mangetout” meant, but it’s French for “eat all”…and there’s a restaurant in England challenging you to do just that!

I love any restaurant that proudly shows off this sandwich:

Yes, it’s larger than a small child! For Mangetout restaurant in England, big food is more than delicious, it’s a challenge! So my question to you is this: would you take this on?

Bite Down On “The Manwich!”

The “Manwich” is a massive sandwich stuffed with beef, ham, turkey, bacon, egg mayo, cheddar, hash browns, bbq sauce AND a salad!

Take A Bite Out Of A “Gigantwich!”

Yes, Mangetout also offers their “Gigantiwich”, which consists of the following:

7 layer deli sandwich loaded with meats and toppings

– Chicken parmesan, turkey, roast beef, and ham are included

– An 8 egg omelette, sausages, hash browns, & bacon are included

– Pulled pork and cheese are also between the 9 slices of bread

– There are sides of chips, onion rings, and coleslaw included

– There is a 45 minute time limit to finish everything

  3. Southend is a down-market seaside town, 42 miles east of London. Traditionally a ‘day-out’ location for Londoners that also became a commuter town for city workers. The fact that a restaurant there offers such ‘greedy’ food is no surprise to me, John. 😊 Best wishes, Pete.

    • Get one for a table of 4-6 and everyone gets a bite! I shared these stories but always point out the goal is not to waste food, but to share and hopefully they adhere to that philosophy here as well!
