Here’s A Great Truffle Margherita Pizza Recipe! Cooking With The “Truffle Shuffle” Chefs!

Who Wants Pizza? Truffle Margherita Pizza?

Stupid question I know, because we all do!

Thanks to the creative Chefs at Truffle Shuffle, we can all make one at home – and I made it with them!

Chefs Jason McKinney and Tyler Vorce, along with Mixologist Sarah McKinney are the visionaries behind “Truffle Shuffle SF” – where you can buy truffles to make your own culinary masterpieces at home – and you can also

As always, they send an “easy to follow” series of directions, so you can think it all through before the live demonstration begins!

For this recipe, it was a two day process, with a short day one experience to make the pizza dough!

As you can see, they lay out all of the “easy to follow” steps, and they do it with you, so it’s easy and interactive – and this “dough making” process took less than an hour, then you let it sit for 3 hours at room temperature before covering in plastic wrap and storing overnight – which sets us up for the next day!

Time To Make Pizza – Day 2!

As you can see by looking at the directions I shared, you get started on day two by taking that pre-made dough and spreading it out on your baking dish!

As you can see, the Chefs walk you through it all, and you get to see all of your fellow pizza makers as well!

The fun really begins when it’s time to dress your pizza – because who doesn’t love to paint a delicious culinary work on top of a blank dough canvas?

And here are your ingredients!

The first thing you do is lay your “Tartufata” across the dough – yes, it’s a nice sized container of chopped truffles and mushrooms, lighting cooked in oil:https://video.wordpress.com/embed/w21pC6ue?hd=0&autoPlay=0&permalink=1&loop=0&preloadContent=metadata&muted=0&playsinline=0&controls=1&cover=1

Then, it’s time to do the same with your sliced tomatoes, la8ing them out all over the dough:

Then, you slice your Mozzarella – all sent to you ahead of time – and liberally lay it all over your pie – and you always have the Chefs offering advice and terrific stories as well:

It’s fun to watch all of the other taking part as they dress their pizzas as well, which will lead you to have a pan that looks like this:

The final touch is the basil chiffonade and balinese truffle salt!https://video.wordpress.com/embed/omGvPmEe?hd=0&autoPlay=0&permalink=1&loop=0&preloadContent=metadata&muted=0&playsinline=0&controls=1&cover=1

Then, time to put it in the oven to make for 25 minutes – and then time to bring it out and show it off!https://video.wordpress.com/embed/xhLal1Ja?hd=0&autoPlay=0&permalink=1&loop=0&preloadContent=metadata&muted=0&playsinline=0&controls=1&cover=1

Yes, the first things the Chefs want you to do is show off your pizza to everyone else – and it’s great fun to see how everyone’s pie turned out!

As great as it looked, it also tasted incredible!

Bravo once again to the truffle Shuffle Chef for another fun and delicious cooking class!

The “Truffle Shuffles” Chefs have a lot of new at-home cooking classes going on all the time – in fact, I recently shared my “Truffle Risotto” class:

It was a lot of fun, and it tastes great as well! You can see what they have coming up by heading to their website here:

Now, if a “Truffle” Pizza isn’t exotic enough for you, what about this one?

Yes, I made “Pizza Lasagna” from leftovers – and it was pretty good!

You can see the entire recipe here:

This may be the most unusual food mashup I ever attempted – again using pasta:

Yes, it’s spaghetti impaling hot dog chunks!

It’s fun and easy to make – here’s the recipe:
