Ready For Some “Tuna Corn Curry” Potato Chips?
Yes, they exist, and not only that, they are popular!
According to great website RocketNews24, the Japanese snack company Calbee once held a national poll to determine three new flavor combos, and all three of the winners turned out distinctly Japanese.
Out of 460,000 submissions, the reigning winners of the flavor poll were: “Gomayo Ponzu” (roasted sesame, mayonnaise and ponzu vinegar), “Sour Cream and Hotate” (sour cream and Japanese scallop) – and of course “Tuna Corn Curry!”
Avocado Cream Cheese Chips Anyone?
Maybe you’d enjoy the more soothing taste of Avocado Creme Cheese…I say “YES YES YES” to that!
And they didn’t stop there!
How About “Seaweed & Salt?”
I’d do it – seaweed is one of the “foods of the future!”
I had some seaweed fries once and they were delicious – see them, plus a “ramen burger”, here!
And what about these coffee-flavored potato chips?

Yes, that’s how the Reporter for RocketNews24 described them! I love that line – hard to imagine how “coffee potato chips” could be anything BUT!

Yes, Pepsi is beloved in China, and it is boiled down to a thick sauce that is served on chicken! And not only that, they offer “hot and sour soup” potato chips as well! See them here:

What an interesting read! Would never have known what is available if not for your interesting scroll! Well, we are all different and, as the saying goes, ‘vive la difference’ 🙂 ! As I don’t eat chips, either freshly cooked or dry as snacks, and rarely have what passes for a hamburger – just a very interesting read. BUT – seaweed – OMG > it would be a rare day when that, in some form, is not consumed and absolutely loved . . . the health giving factors are considerable and the taste wonderful . . .
You must spend a lot of time in some most unusual places to find these things!
John, I admit I am very boring, but the only flavour of crisps I enjoy eating are ‘Sea Salt’. Very basic, I know. 😊
