A Day When Turkeys Are VERY Nervous!

Yes, the United States of America is about to celebrate Thanksgiving. Here is how the holiday is described:

“Thanksgiving Day, annual national holiday in the United States and Canada celebrating the harvest and other blessings of the past year. Americans generally believe that their Thanksgiving is modeled on a 1621 harvest feast shared by the English colonists (Pilgrims) of Plymouth and the Wampanoag people.”

I won’t be posting tomorrow as there is too much food to prepare and a massive New York parade to watch up close, as it passes right in front of our apartment!

Instead, I will share with you a few funny Thanksgiving memes from the internet:

And this is perhaps my favorite because there is indeed so much food!

With that said, I make a bacon-wrapped maple-glazed Turkey but love the idea of this:

This is a duck breast stuffed inside a chicken stuffed inside a turkey with dressing – and someone wrapped it in bacon!
