Happy National School Lunch Hero Day! Japanese School Lunch — Tanooki Homemade Cafe

Tanooki shared lunched from a round the world, so if you want comfort food that takes you on a journey, why not this unique Meatloaf?

Here’s the recipe for this delicious comfort “Macau Meatloaf” food!

I have also cooked a traditional Italian “Sunday Gravy”, with an interesting assist from Actor / Cookbook Author / Food Travel Host Stanley Tucci:

  1. I’m all about school lunch heroes, and wow, that meatloaf!

  2. I had a period of school lunches from the age of 6-10. They went with traditional English food back then; lots of stodge, and designed to be filling. It was probably very unhealthy, but I survived. 🙂 (We called them ‘School Dinners’, though they were served at lunchtime)
    Best wishes, Pete.
