Ah internet, you continue to inspire me – I mean, that is where I discovered that THIS is, in fact, a new trend:
Ramen Noodle Baths!
Yes, is appears that THIS IS A REAL TREND!
In fact, Foodbeast.com has an article laying out the five reasons people are taking “noodle baths”, like this one:
“The baths use a pork-based broth that is packed with collagen believed to improve the skin of patrons.”
Well, OK then!
Japanese ramen noodle baths are a unique, gimmicky spa experience, primarily offered at the Yunessun Spa Resort in Hakone, Japan. These baths use a pepper-flavored, pork-based broth and synthetic noodles designed to improve skin quality through collagen. While unconventional, it is a popular, photo-worthy attraction for tourists seeking unique relaxation – and entire families are doing it!
“Ramen noodle bathing” is not just for women, either: the internet is full of pictures of guys “ramen bathing” as well:
As you can imagine, that has led to many funny photo ops like this one:
An Australian website also covered the story, with some funny pictures of people noodle bathing, and a recipe as well:
And because it is, after all, the internet, you will find ramen noodle bathing taken to a whole new artistic level as well!
There really isn’t anything to add beyond this, right?
