Happy Anniversary Of “Burger Beast Day!”
Well. this is a reason to celebrate! Sef Gonzalez, AKA “Burger Beast”, shared this proclamation he received, and since today is the anniversary of that great honor, I want to share some great burger videos with you!

“It’s All About The Burger!”
Sef is very well known as Burger Beast – food blogger, writer, and influencer from Miami, Florida. He gained popularity through his blog and social media presence, where he still shares his love for burgers and comfort food of all kinds – a terrific blog to subscribe to and enjoy!

It’s a great excuse to share some of my favorite videos of burgers being made, including one from the legendary “Hamburger America” Author George Motz!

Motz had a TV show all about burgers across our country, and now has a terrific restaurant in New York called “Hamburger America!

I was there when it opened and George himself made me a smashburger….check it out!
I love the process and of course the end result!
See the entire process and my review here!
Living in New York, I’ve tried a number of burgers…inclduing this towering achievement:

I know what you are asking: how do you eat that thing? Here it is as it showed up at my table:
So…knife and fork or very big mouth?
Click here to see how I handled it!
I love the latest trend of “onion smash burgers”…slowly cooked raw onion on and under the burger for maximum flavor!~

Here it is in action…raw white onion on top of the burgers, then underneath when flipped!
How good are these?
Worth going to Hackensack New Jersey, that’s how good! See the process here!
Japan is known for its Wagyu beef, so I had a burger made out of it:

The key is to let the beef shine…here’s the simple goodness of what showed up at my table when I ordered one recently:
Simple yet very effective!
I leave you with one last burger challenge: look at this cheeseburger, squint, and let me know if you see Steve Harvey!

Now back to Burger Beast…Sef wrote a great history of hamburger chains and individual restaurants in America..see my review here!
Bravo to for the anniversary of “Burger Beast Day!”

yummmmmmmm
When I see the size of some of those ‘fancy’ burgers, I start to realise why so many Americans are clinically obese, John. (Current estimate around 70,000,000 of the adults.) They look great, but they need to be smaller.
Best wishes, Pete.
Agree Pete…here in the states, steakhouses always have a 28 oz. steak on the menu and the regular sizes are always 15-18 ounces…who needs one entire pound of meat to yourself!
