Is A Fifteen Pound Burger “Too Much Of A Good Thing?” Here’s The “Belly Of The Beast!”

Ready To Take On 15 Pounds Of Burger? Let’s Enter The “Belly Of The Beast!”

You all know how much I love burgers, and wacky burgers ALWAYS get my attention…and that’s exactly what we have here, thanks to a restaurant in Las Vegas!

Truffles N Bacon Cafe® is a story of how two women, Chef Jackie Lim and partner Magnolia Magat, followed their passion for food, love of community and turned their dream into a reality.  It was, of course, a TV show that brought them fame…

Yes, Here’s The “Belly Of The Beast!”

What prompted this 15-pound burger? A TV show called “Ginormous Food!”

The Duo came up with an $85 monster of a meal – including two Angus beef patties that are so huge they had to be flipped with pizza paddles!

The burger is topped with four thick slices of pork belly, and some fried eggs as well!

Also included is a mixture of tomatoes, serrano chiles, Tater Tots, and Hot Cheetos, and covered with cheese and baked until melted on top.

The “HOT BEAST!”

While that was quite an achievement for a show that celebrated big food, a normal size exists for everyone else!

This is the original version individual-size burger that inspired the creation of The Belly Of The Beast featured on Food Network’s Ginormous Food Show. The Hot Beast was also featured on Food Paradise for The Travel Channel. This burger is made with angus beef patty, tater tots, tossed with pork belly, Serrano pepper, melted cheese and hot Cheetos paired with Korean mayo, BBQ sauce and ranch topped with a sunny side up egg – it sells for $21.

But if you want to add some fries, how about these?

Who Wants “Spam Fries?”

Yes, you can get fries that are made out of Spam – and how about a burger that comes with a thick slice of Macaroni’n’Cheese?

These aren’t the only crazy things being cooked up in Las Vegas:

I shared a look at the “Quadruple Bypass Burger” as well – would you try one? See the entire recipe here!

As I said, I love to share photos of these big burgers – especially the world’s biggest!

I mean, how can you not LOVE this picture? See who was crazy enough to make this monster meal by clicking here:

Back home on planet Earth, why don’t we cut back the size and focus on a unique way of serving?

How about a small burger – with dipped cheese on the outside of the bun?

See how I did it and how it turned out here:

And what about this very unique cooking method?

Yes, that is cheese outside the bun – way outside the bun!

  1. Monster of a meal is a great description. I would be scared away just looking at it. I wonder if I would be able to eat even a quarter of the burger. It’s huge!

  2. I remember the tiny little take-out hamburgers when I was in high school, They were3 2/$1 and probably not even worth that even back then. Today, we’d call them a slider.

  3. Wow, I would never be hungry enough for that. I would need many friends to join me
