Understood! Cup Noodles is a beloved product in Asia, and it’s nothing more than a package of the meat cubes used in the noodles dish! I’d try it but understand the reluctance!
I don’t know about “mystery meat”, John. That name doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. Do you know what it is?
It’s the cubed meat used in the Cup Noodles they sell in Asia…a beloved product, a nice blend of freeze-dried meat cubes with spices! That said, I realized as I typed the words “freeze-dried meat cubes” that it’s not the most appetizing description, is it? thanks for the comment!

Pete, the love for Cup Noodles in Asia is something else…here in the US of course we added “of” between the two words as if otherwise we wouldn’t understand! It is considered a food for teens and college kids who have no money and no cooking skills! Oh, it’s also known to soak up the liquids consumed the night before if you know what I mean!
Much the same here. Loved by students at university, shift-workers, and single people.
