A Meat Curry “Bam!” Food So Big It Makes A Noise + Tokyo Breakfast Sushi!

Who Wants Curry? “Bam!” I Do!

OK, you all know I love all things Japan, especially the food – so when I saw this story on SoraNews24.com, I had to share it with you!

Coco Curry exists all over Japan, and I’ve been there! Right now, they are offering a wild new treat!

SoraNews24 always has these great stories, and I appreciate the effort they put in to taste these new dishes for us! Here’s what they said about this meat curry” dish!

The roux has rich soy sauce notes to it, and is seasoned with four different types of coarse-ground pepper (black, white, green, and pink), plus a sprinkling of fried garlic chips. This is a very aromatic plate of curry rice, and the pepper and garlic shine through stronger than any other flavors in the roux, for a result akin to what’s sometimes called “spice curry” (not to be confused with spicy curry) in Japan.

The idea is to offer a “mega” amount of pork on top, and if you want to see their delicious taste test, look at their review here!

Some of you may know that I’m fascinated with some of the wild food that merges from Asia, thanks to the terrific coverage by SoraNews24.com. For example, they told me about this trend:

O-Mori!

This trend is worth a look – remember these are “shared plates”, NOT a waste of food at all – so click here for the story of O-mori aka “mega” food!

When my wife Alex, son Jeff and I were in Tokyo we ate all kinds of wild food, like sushi for breakfast! Here’s a look!

Yes, the sushi bars surrounding Tokyo’s famous Tsukiji Fish Market serve sushi at 6a – the market has moved a bit further away from the city center – but it still exists so go see it!

Here is an inside look at the iconic market that was:

A bit more food and fun from Tokyo, you see my son befriends a Musician who worked in a bar and he played an original song for us!

This “Golden Gai” entertainment area is so much fun – see why by clicking on my story here!
