Want A White Castle Breakfast Slider? Make It At Home And Here’s How!

Here’s A Wild New Breakfast Slider For You!

Behold the breakfast slider – my own invention, and I am about to show you why you should stick this in your mouth and bite down hard!

Everyone knows that I love sliders, but most don’t know the reason: they are small portions! Yes, you can eat a whole platter by yourself, but I like that you can have a couple bites of burger and be done – I’m tired of the “half-pound” monster burgers that load me up with way too much food…a slider gives a little love and is gone!

Time To Show Some Love To The White Castle Slider!

As you know, I previously made a case for why White Castle deserves a little more respect from burger fans – as I have stated before, “you don’t expect much from White Castle, but they don’t expect much from you either!”

A slider is 79 cents – 79 CENTS.

So let’s have some fun with this delicious little slider by making it for breakfast!

I had some eggs at home and didn’t feel like scrambled eggs for breakfast – and didn’t want a big meal at all – so what to do? Well, using the box of frozen White Castle cheeseburgers I had, I got cooking!

First, take two sliders out of their frozen hell and microwave them for a minute…here’s how easy it is:

You can also thaw out the sliders overnight and it take literally 30 seconds to get them ready! As far as the White Castle part of this recipe is concerned, that was the toughest part of the preparation….from this point all it’s all about the egg!

As your sliders are busy microwaving, put two eggs in a pan, with a bit of olive oil…here is a look and again, we are talking “cooking 101” here!

Next, take your two White Castle sliders out of the microwave, open them up and lay down a line of Mayonaise…yes, it tastes great and you can buy lowfat or olive oil-based versions – remember mayo and aioli come from condiment heaven…

As the eggs cook, break the yolk and then flip the egg over…once again, incredibly easy but fun to watch for sure…watch me butcher my eggs a bit!

Boy, I really scrambled those didn’t I? HA!

After you separate the two pieces and let both pieces finish cooking…, then it’s time to compile!

CONTINUE CONSTRUCTING YOUR BREAKFAST BITES!

When your egg is finished cooking, slide those two pieces onto the top of your waiting White Castle cheeseburger sliders…breakfast is served!

“WHITE CASTLE BREAKFAST SLIDERS!”

Fast, cheap and honestly, delicious!

Once you take a bite you will understand that THIS is a great way to bite in to your day – and not bad for you, either!

LET’S ADD THIS UP!

Ok, first you begin with the White Castle Cheeseburgers: you are eating two, which according to the box add up to this total:

310 total calories
17g fat

THE INCREDIBLE, EDIBLE EGG…

And now let’s add the single egg, a nutritional thing of beauty:

70 calories
4g fat

EGG-CELLENT!

It gets better: let’s add in the extra health benefits of the egg…

25% of your daily dose of Vitamin E
20% of your B-12
20% of your Vitamin D
40% of your Iodine – I don’t know why you need it, but here’s 40% of it, so stop complaining…
115mg of Omega 3 – of course, you have to get the eggs that are fortified with Omega 3’s…

So there you go! A 380 calorie breakfast with 21g of fat – sure that’s a third of your day’s total, but have a salad for lunch and get back on track, will you?

My point is that this is a tasty, filling and semi-healthy way to begin a day – not EVERY day of course, but a lot better than what is being sold to you at various breakfast outlets!

And once again our friends at White Castle come through!

Eggs are so versatile, and elevate any dish – and in a time when egg prices have soared, here are some great way to stretch your egg dollar!

I love eggs….just how they sound as they cook makes me happy:

Here’s another way to make a terrific egg dish…bake them! You can add some homemade Chocolate Tacos if you want to make a romantic breakfast…here are recipes for both!

I do love eggs, so of course I made a wildly creative egg dish – using potato chips!

In fact, it was so unique I had to make it twice to see if I was doing it right!

Click here for a tale of “potato chip eggs two times!”

And speaking of egg dishes, I also posted a “dinner and a movie” that included the “Moonstruck” eggs made famous by Cher!

Yes, some call this a “toad in a hole” but whatever you call it, Cher loved it and you can see the recipe here:

  1. Loved the read even if my nutrition does not move in the same direction as yours 🙂 ! But really have to look up your Ferran Adria story as foodie friends have taken me to el Bulli often enough !

  2. ooh, I never tried making them!

  3. White Castle doesn’t operate here, but I would definitely try your breakfast.

    Best wishes, Pete.
